The Allied High Tech MetPrep 3™ with PH-4™ Power Head is a versatile, semi-automatic grinding and polishing system designed for low-to-high volume materialographic sample preparation. It features a pneumatic-electric head that provides individual sample force using four (4) pistons, allowing simultaneous preparation of multiple mounts, while the unique tilt-up design ensures easy access to the platen.

• Individual Force Control: The PH-4™ configuration enables independent pressure on up to four samples, allowing for the removal of individual samples during operation without affecting the balance of the system.
• System Versatility: The system supports both 8" or 10" platens and is ideal for delicate materials, EBSD applications, or situations requiring varied sample sizes.
• Programmable Operation: Features a microprocessor-based system with up to 25 programmable steps, controlling parameters such as platen speed, sample rotation speed, fluid selection, cycle time, and force reduction.
• Efficiency: The system utilizes a tilt-up head, reducing the need to reposition the head during preparation and providing easy access to the platen.
