Used Charles Ross DPM-2 Double Planetary Mixer

The ROSS Double Planetary Mixer consists of two identical blades that rotate on their own axes, while they orbit the mix vessel on a common axis. The blades continuously advance along the periphery of the vessel, removing material from the vessel wall and transporting it to the interior. In only 36 revolutions around the vessel, the two blades pass through every point in the product zone, physically contacting the entire batch.

This vertical mixer has no shaft seals, bearing, packing, or stuffing boxes submerged in the product zone. Agitators are raised and lowered in/out of the mix vessel by a hydraulic lift, enabling easy access for cleaning between batches.
